Despite a projected fourteen-month recovery period, the resort reopened within eight months. Operational enhancements include website updates for online submission of guest permission forms and the development of a pre-registration system to streamline the check-in process.

The Fall 2022 Newsletter of the Ocean East Resort Club details the resort’s operational and infrastructural improvements throughout the year. Occupancy rates have remained high, between 85% and 100% since January. Major upgrades include a refurbished pool area, replacement of gas grills and air conditioners, and new kitchen appliances. The resort has also installed a new ice machine, with plans for an additional one. Preparations for Maintenance Weeks include new carpets and elevator refurbishments.

The Winter 2020 newsletter for Ocean East Resort Club indicates a series of achievements and improvements. The resort was recognized by Resort Condominium International (RCI) with a “Silver Crown” award and also received the Best of 2019 Ormond Beach award for Homeowners Associations. Facility upgrades include new laundry appliances, upgraded mattresses in studio units, additional pool deck furniture, and a renovated parking lot with additional handicap spots.
